Haus am Wald

'Haus am Wald' is a newly renovated old farmhouse. Surrounded by forests and meadows it offers pure relaxation without any traffic noise. Wake up by the birds singing in the morning and watch the deer roaming through the forest. Shopping is available Lippborg (3 km) with supermarket, bakeries and several shops. Situated 4 km from autobahn A2 it is very easy to get here. The house offers 100 m² of living space with family room, 2 bedrooms, 1,5 bathrooms, dining room and a kitchen. All rooms have just been renovated. The upper floor has two spacious bedrooms and a toilet. Both bedrooms are equipped with new box spring beds 180cm*200cm. On the ground floor there is a dining room with WLAN radio, a living room with TV, the bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. For additional guests, the sofa bed in the living room can be used or our folding bed (90x200) can be placed. All windows are equipped with external blinds. In each room there is a window with insect screen. There is WLAN reception in the whole house. For travelers from abroad, we provide a small selection of socket adapters upon request. Notes for families: Parents are welcome to set up the cribs they have brought with them. Upon request, we will provide child safety locks for the electrical outlets. To avoid accidents, we recommend locking the door to the stairs when small children are on the upper floor. Notes for tall people: The house is an old farmhouse. The ceiling height on the first floor is 2.05 m (under the ceiling beams 1.95 m). On the entire upper floor the ceiling height is 2.25 m. Next neighbors are appr. 300m away in any direction. The next town is Lippborg in a distance of 3 km. South is the 'Sauerland' with its hills and forests (Möhneseetalsperre ca. 30km). Worth a visit are the medieval towns of Soest (20km) and Wiedenbrück (32km). In short distance one can find outstanding restaurants like Gasthof Willenbrink (3 km) decorated with 'L` Assiette Michelin' and Restaurant Helbach 800° (5 km) specialized on US-Beef on its 800° BBQ. Next shopping options are in the village of Lippborg or the surrounding cities. No-charge parking lots in front of the house. CORONA INFO In accordance with the Corona Protection Ordinance § 4, valid from 4.3.2022: "Access restrictions, testing obligation" applies: Only immunised or tested persons may be accommodated (3G). Non-immunised persons must present a new test on arrival and thereafter after expiry of the validity period. The accommodation is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected after each booking. We are closed for one day between bookings for cleaning purposes. The accommodation is a self-contained house with separate entrance and electronic check-in. Your hosts are triple vaccinated.
