This is a very large master bedroom in a private home, located in a quiet neighborhood. Near Holy Cross Germantown, Shady Grove Rockville and NIH Bethesda, NIST; AstraZeneca; MedImmune; Department of Energy, Germantown. The location is ideal for traveling nurses, employed professionals, summer interns, PhD candidates. This is a huge bedroom that has been converted to a living room with a bedroom, even though it's a master bedroom. Due to local zoning laws, 30 day minimum stay. The master living area has two windows, a couch, plenty of storage for clothes, a wireless tv, and a desk for working. There is a separate dressing area with a mirror and closet. It is next to the bathroom and bedroom. The sleeping area has two windows, gets the morning sun and is located away from any noise in the house. The bedroom living space is 18x15 and that doesn't include the dressing area, bathroom and bedroom. It's bigger than many efficiency apartments! The room is located over the garage so you may feel/hear the garage go up when host leaves/returns from work. You'll have access to the kitchen/washer/dryer etc. which is on the main level. You would enter through the front door and the room is on the second floor at the top of the steps. There are two rocking chairs on the front porch and a shaded back deck with a table and chairs. Unless otherwise indicated when you make your reservation, you will be greeted by the host when you arrive and provided specifics about the house. Feel free to inquire ahead of time if you have questions. The house is approximately 5000sq. ft, all brick. The neighborhood is very quiet, lined with trees, has many walking trails and is near a lake. The neighborhood is close to Rt. 270 and 10 minutes to the Shady Grove Metro Station. There is public transportation nearby and ample street parking (free). When you arrive, you'll be provided a list of local grocery, retail, entertainment and restaurants.
