Farm Stay at Finca Castelero (El Peral Bunkhouse)

Description: Located outside the town of Kelseyville California sits Finca Castelero; a 20 acre plot of land consisting of a pear orchard, vineyard, vegetable garden, barn and three bunkhouses. The farm is the perfect retreat for couples or families looking to relax and spend time outside. While the bunkhouses are standalone bedrooms, you will have access to an equipped kitchen, dining nook, cozy living room and two bathrooms just steps away as well as several outdoor seating/lounge areas. You will be staying in our first bunk house, El Peral. Inside is a queen size bed, desk and chair. It has direct access to the barn, apartment and a beautiful view of the vineyard. This room has AC and we provide a heater in the cooler months. You are welcome to enjoy the property and it's various sitting areas, the barn, swing and gardens. We will be here to greet you, hand over the keys and show you around. Our house sits on the property so we will be available to answer any questions. We also respect your privacy and space and will give you free range of the farm during your stay. We are just a five-minute drive from downtown Kelseyville where you will find tasting rooms, a brewery, restaurants, a coffee shop and antique stores. Clear Lake, California’s largest lake, is an eight-minute drive down the road and is the perfect place to share a picnic and go for a dip. There are also countless wineries, hikes, bike paths and more just minutes from the farm. We recommend you have a car if you would like to explore all that Lake County has to offer. We also provide bicycles for exercise or leisure purposes. As mentioned, we live on the property so there may be moments we cross paths in the garden, barn or other outdoor areas. There is also a chance that there will be guests renting the other bunkhouses and you will therefore share the apartment and common areas.
