Rochester House is near restaurants, trails, family-friendly activities, and lake beaches. It's convenient to many destinations, including, Hill Farmstead, Caspian Lake (beach) and Craftsbury. A short walk to the Farmer's Market, grocery stores, and most village restaurants. Downtown is .7 miles, 15 min walk. This may be too far in winter. There is a city plowed sidewalk all the way during snow season if needed. House of Pizza is only 2 blocks. We are in the village, please respect neighbors The house is currently a mixture of old and new. There are four bedrooms and two full baths on the second floor with two stairwells (one on each end). It’s a large house, over 3K sq ft. There was a fifth bedroom on the first floor that we use as a media room. It can still house humans if necessary. One bath upstairs features a clawfoot tub for bathing (not showers). Only ONE TV. Guests are welcome to use the whole house including the kitchen, living room, two dining rooms, and free wifi “BeOurGuest". I’m available for any issues by text and I have a local care taker to assist with any other issues. Hardwick has plenty of Vermont Village charm with amenities to make like easy. There is a grocery and drug store across the street. Three restaurants are walking distance with a full bar and service at Positive Pie (along with a great beer list including Hill Farmstead) Park the car and walk!
