The Old Stables at Moyglare Manor, Maynooth

Completed renovations and newly decorated as of summer 2020. Stay in converted stables, in an old world setting, at Moyglare House, built in 1760, which we have been restoring over the last six years. Near Maynooth, a bustling university town with great restaurants and close to Dublin, there is lots to see and do. Or relax and enjoy the peaceful surrounding of nature at Moyglare Manor. We live in a very historic place in a beautiful setting. We have four dogs and two outdoor cats - all friendly. The accommodation consists of a living room/ kitchen area with a stove and heating. There are two double bedrooms, one with en-suite. Newly renovated accommodation. Modern with an old-world twist. If you need both bedrooms for two people please key in 3 guests to get rate. The accommodation has an outdoor seating area and the grounds are extensive. It is very peaceful to sit outside and enjoy a drink or a bar-b-q. The gardens are a work in progress but there is a long avenue for walking and cycling. We are happy to help with recomendations of places to visit. We live just across from the old stables. Great golf also, we are close to Carton House, which also has an adventure park and spa. The area we live in is close to the canal system and is super for cycling or walking. There are many historical sites to visit ranging from Castletown House to Newgrange. We are only 20 minutes from Tattersalls (fairyhouse racecourse). We live at the end of a long avenue! However there is a very good train service from Maynooth to Dublin and local taxi's, which means eating in the many excellent local restaurants is a must. We are just half an hour by car from Dublin Airport. We will supply a breakfast hamper and the kitchen contains basic supplies and is well equipped. We will also supply logs for the stove.
