Camellias house - Malcata typical village

A Cozy two floors country house with more than 100 years recently renovated, surrounded by unique natural spots such as a large pin forest or a beautiful dam/lake. It is located in a quiet village next to the marvellous Serra de Malcata and half an hour by car from beautiful Serra da Estrela. Its peculiar old stone walls are an example of the traditional architecture of that part of Portugal. The house has 2 rooms with a double bed in each and a sofa bed in the living room also for two persons. The living room and the kitchenette are one open space with a warm fireplace and a washing machine. The two bathrooms and the kitchen are all made anew and the house is equipped with all you need to enjoy a calm and relaxed time. The house is located in a small traditional village called "Malcata", surrounded by a protected mountain "Serra da Malcata". It's a really nice area for hiking, bike, bird watching or any other nature sports/hobbies. It is also a good place to stay if you want to visit Serra da Estrela (70km). The entire house equipped with old renewed furniture and modern household appliances. I won't be available to meet you personally but I will have someone to receive you and give you all the information/help required. The Village and the landscape are unique, great for nature lovers. If you want to explore the surroundings it' s better to have your own car. In the region, the mobile phone net is poor but the house is equipped with a fast internet.
