House is an historic planation built when Thomas Jefferson was in office, close to family-friendly activities (Lincoln family historic park, Perryville Civil War Battlefield, the house was used as hospital after the battle, in on the original Wilderness Road, and on US Lincoln Heritage Scenic Highway. You’ll love my place because of the ambiance, the outdoors space, the neighborhood which is pure country. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, and families. This listing is for 1 bedroom (2 guests) although a total of 5 bedrooms are available. So if you require more than 2 guests and one bedroom please reserve Maple Grove Planation Hamilton Bedroom, and or Maple Grove Planation Boone bedroom or the Jefferson bedroom. The price is the same for each bedroom. While guests have access to virtually the entire house, the hosts live here and will be in residence during your stay. Guests have access to entire house including kitchen, laundry room, TV room, Living room, large front and back porches, and the entire outside grounds. Can provide information regarding points of interest close by, or thoroughout the State. Points of interest close by: Makers Mark Distrillery, Lincoln Homestead State Park, Perryville Civil War battlefield State Park (largest civil war battle in Kentucky, My Old Kentucky Home state Park, where Stephen Foster wrote the immortal song. A must see is the horse farms around Lexington. Home is located close to the geographical center of the state, and is on both the Lincoln Heritage Scenic Highway, and the original Wilderness Road. There is no public transportation From Springfield. House is on the national register of historic places.
