This property and the garden area surrounding the house is for your private use. There is another house on the property that we rarely use. 1 sauna session is included in your booking! if you wish to use the sauna more then once during your stay please leave a donation. Kitchen There’s a small fridge, washing machine, induction stove, oven, kettle, toaster, pot and pan, plates, bowls, cutlery, knives, strainer, mugs, glasses etc. It’s a small space but has all you need to cook up a feast, there also a foldable kitchen table that seats up to 5. Basic spices, tea, coffee, washing powder, dishwashing liquid and soap also there for your use. Livingroom There’s a nice fireplace that you’re welcome to use. There’s enough seating space for 5 people, comfortable sofabed that opens easily and fits 2 people to sleep. Extra fleece blankets for extra cozyness also available. Theres a TV with only few local channels but there is a DVD player with array of DVDs for rainy days. Lots of books to read and some board games. Bedroom Queen bed with a great mattress and if you need more separate sleeping places there are proper thick mattresses (2 single ones) also, but let us know beforehand of your sleeping arrangements. Hammock for chilling and clothes rack for your clothes. The best thing here is a spotting scope - For bird and animal watching from your bed. Window overlooks a grassland that gets visited by roedeer, fox, rabbits, wild boar, badgers etc. Bathroom A separate toilet with sink, mirror and storage cupboard. Next to it is a big shower room with a bench for cooling off after sauna. Sauna comfortably fits 4 people at the time. The heater is good quality Estonian company HUUM, it’s easy to use.You can also run outside from sauna onto the terrace, jump in the snow in winter or just sip a cold beer on the terrace seats. Guests can access all the rooms in the house. Aswell as your own terrace and garden area are in your private use. You' re also welcome to use the rest of the garden if you want and pick some herbs and veggies from "our side" of garden. We are always available over e-mail and phone. Sometimes we are also there for check-in but sometimes you can do self check-in. Occasionally we are staying in the other house, in that case just knock on the door. There is a Nature reserve with beautiful forests around. A hiking trail (3km) and a lake is about 2km away. In summer you can pick berries (there are lots!) or go for a swim, in the winter go for a walk in winter wonderland, icefishing, skiing, iceskating, tobagoning etc. Spring is the best time for animal and bird watching and autumn offers mushrooms, hazelnuts and lots of colors. Nearest neighbours are 300m away and nearest shop is 12km away in Tõrva. There are also cafes, tourist info, postoffice etc. You can access the house easily with a car, there's a gravel road going past the house. It's also quite a nice bicycle ride from Mägiste train station (12km and almost all on sealed road). it's the train that runs between Tallinn-Valga. Our neighbour has cows that might be in nearby paddock. For that reason there is an electric fence on the outside of our wooden fence. it's not dangerous but uncomfortable if you touch it so keep it in mind with kids. It's a proper country place with flies and mosquitoes. Steep stairs to second floor so be careful. We have a pond that is full on rainy seasons but might be empty part of the summer. No WiFi! reception is also not great, better upstairs.
