CASA do Varandão was the ancient and imposing granary built in stone with gables to open and close, from the farm of Casa de Paço Velho, old and beautiful 16th century construction. Today, the spaces used to store and thresh corn cobs have become a beautiful and comfortable home, full of sunshine. The threshing floor, where the corn kernels were dried, gave way to a pleasant pool surrounded by orange trees. CASA do Varandão offers a refined and peaceful stay. CASA do Varandão is located 1.5 km from the center of Barcelos, the capital of handicrafts. Green hedges protect about four thousand square meters of lawns and orchards, which allows to create a serene and pleasant environment. The ground floor of the CASA has a very large and cozy room, with tableware, round table with 6 chairs, two sofas and a maple, dresser with cable TV, air conditioning. All glass wall overlooking the pool, lawns and orchard, with two doors that allow direct access to the outside. Enjoy a fantastic breakfast with a unique view of the pool.
