Wonderful villa at Koster island close to the sea!

If you want to have a calm an quiet vacation, Koster is the place to go. We have a big, charming and comfortable house with big garden waiting for you. The Koster islands is located just outside Strömstad, very close to the Norwegian border (1,5 hours drive from Oslo). Search for "Grottan Online" and you will find even more info. You rent the whole house (except closets and shelfs marked “Privat”) and the 800square m garden around. As you are renting the whole house, you also have access to all the rooms. The are some closets that is private (they are either locked or you see a clear note on it). The whole garden within the fence is four your use, but not the basement (door from outside), or the green little house in the garden (house for garden tools etc). During summer and some other weekends, I will be living in the small red house below. But I leave mye guests alone and I am available for questions and assistance. When I´m not at Koster, I am very available by the AirBnB app or sms. Nordkoster is an island to explore by foot. Cars are not allowed and there are not too many roads for biking. But there are many nice, marked walking paths. Ask me for suggestions and links to the paths. At the other island, Sydkoster, you can rent bikes. This is bigger and very nice to explore by bike. This is on an island, and you can not bring your car. Only the local grocery store + the restaurants has permission to use car/tractor/truck. Please be aware of that the local, small food store is only open during summer. So please bring groceries from Strömstad if you don´t rent during summer. Ask me if you wonder if it´s open or not.
