Malepère is a lovely, spacious one bedroom apartment. Access is via a small flight of exterior stairs which lead to a bright, open plan living space with a modern, fully equipped kitchen. The lounge area has a comfortable sofa with cable television (French) and DVD player. Just off the lounge you will find a balcony with views over the gardens, swimming pool and distant Pyrenees - the perfect place to relax. Malepère has one generous size double bedroom up a small flight of stairs. Please note that this gite does not have a BBQ on the balcony but has access to BBQ area located in the garden. Easy access to Carcassonne and Toulouse Gîtes de Montcabirol is handily located a few minutes by car from Mirepoix. This lively, colourful town is truly enchanting with its central square surrounded by medieval houses, covered walkways, weekly market, numerous shops, restaurants, bars and cafes. Mirepoix also provides easy access to Foix, Pamiers, the Pyrénées and the fast roads to Carcassonne, Toulouse and the Mediterranean resorts of Narbonne and Beziers.
