Our place is great for couples, business travellers, and families with children. We are close to the beach and within 5 mins walk to the Metro which gives you access to Newcastle city centre within 30 mins. There is an ice rink within 1/2 mile and the local parks offer a variety of activities. Within an hours drive you can be in the beautiful Northumberland countryside as well as their beaches renowned for their beauty. There are a wide variety of bars and restaurants all within walking distance and the ever popular village of Tynemouth with it's weekend markets and café culture is a short drive away. Whitley Bay is a bustling seaside town with lots of independent shops and cafes to browse during your stay. If you head to the beach be sure to check out award winning Di Meos ice cream next to the Spanish City...you will not be disappointed. Saturday and Sunday mornings give you the option of visiting Tynemouth Market. Here you can find just about anything from gourmet sausages to antique furniture, bric a brac and specialist craft sellers. There are regular bus services from the town centre into Newcastle and the Metro system is a 3 minute walk. A map of the Metro system is available at the property. This is our family home which we rent while we are working in the South East. Please treat with respect as we return on a regular basis to visit family and friends. There is street parking outside the property but please be aware that the bottom end of the street is permit only. Parking is also available at the back of the property.
