More than a holiday home with amazing views

This 4 bedroom house id the perfect spot for stay-cation, work from home or short or long term getaway. Charmingly stylish, the 220m2 house is full of character, and has been renovated keeping the core of architectural details yet including all modern amenities, and is ideally situated in the heart of this medieval village that got the label "most beautiful villages in France" in 1993 and the brand "Small Cities of Character" in 2012. As per the new Health and cleaning Guidelines following the Co-vid pandemic, we have a self check in facility and we pay extra attention to cleaning and disinfecting frequently touched surfaces. Terra Alba features 4 bedrooms ans sleeps 8 to 10 people. the top floor bedroom with its thick stone walls and original wooden beams features 1 king size bed (1M80) and two single beds and is ideal for a family.It has an ensuite bathroom and a separate toilet. The second bedroom is on the main entrance level and has a king size bed and an ensuite bathroom. On the street level floor there are 2 bedrooms with shared bathroom with shower and a separate toilet. One with a king size bed and one with a double bed and direct access to the garden. All king size beds can be made in twin beds on request. baby cots are available. Should you wish to be independent,there are 2kitchens fully equipped to the highest standard ( washing machine on street level floor). On a chilly day, 2 log burners will warm you up. Both floors have access to the garden and to two lovely shaded pergolas should you wish to enjoy Al fresco dining! There is also a barbecue area. The dining rooms and the lounges with mismatched furniture and a relaxed approach to displaying everyday objects soften the edge of this rustic village house. The rental includes bed linen, towels and ablution amenities. Guest have ace to the full house.Wifi is free. Within a 10 minute stroll, we are sitting on the banks of the river Dronne. Vehicles can be parked 200 meters up the street on Saint Jacques church parking place or at the main square down the street. parking outside the house is only allowed to load and unload suitcases and groceries. Vehicles have to be moved afterwards. The property manager and myself are available on WhatsApp. In case of emergencies, the property manager is in close vicinity. The quaint garden is one of a few in the heart of the village and overlooks the castle and the village rooftops. It is the ideal spot to relax, read , listen to the birds and watch the world gently pass you by. there is so much to discover in the Dronne valley area..old churches and castles full of character. Easy to shop in the village..bakery, butchery, supermarket are within 5 minutes walking distance. Below the village lies a leisure on the banks of Dronne offering swimming, canoeing kayaking, fishing and tennis ... Many Craftsmen, shops, and restaurants are also nearby ... if you want to explore the Dronne valley, it is better to have your own vehicle or to rent. Bon séjour!
