Want to take a break to relax? Our location is the ideal base from which to explore the pleasant, nature-rich area of Central Limburg. How about a bike ride along the Maasplassen and a picnic along the waterfront or a lovely walk through the National Nature Park 'De Meinweg'. Or visit our historic shopping city Roermond. It's all possible from our comfortable guesthouse! We would like you to have a carefree stay. Because of COVID-19, your guesthouse is therefore cleaned extra well and disinfected according to Airbnb's CDC cleaning guidelines (CDC, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention). Your guesthouse (ca.45m2) is comfortable, timeless and elegantly furnished and fully equipped. You have free coffee and tea making facilities, a king-size box spring, flat screen TV (cable), fridge, microwave and a diningarea. In addition, you have access to a private bathroom with bath and a separate private toilet. We would like to point out that the windows with mountain and water view are photo wallpaper. You can access the accommodation through a private entrance. Your accommodation is located on the ground floor, offers a lot of privacy and peace and there is ample free parking in front of the door. In the summer months you can read a book on your private terrace, drink a nice glass of wine or relax from a cycling or walking tour. One day before arrival you will receive a link from us to restaurants where you can pick up or have meals delivered. We provide plates,  cutlery, drinking glasses, napkins etc. and we do the dishes. :)   Optional: on Saturday and Sunday we can provide a delicious breakfast for you for € 12.50 per person, per day. Extra information about COVID-19: * We respect the RIVM guidelines and keep 1.5 meters away if you want personal  be received on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday. If you wish however, you can also check in yourself by means of a key safe. You will receive clear instructions after booking. I.v.m. with COVID-19 we ensure that there is handsoap, tissues and kitchenpaper present in the guesthouse. Extra information: * Non-smoking accommodation. * Pets are not allowed. * The accommodation is not suitable for children. You can access the accommodation through a private entrance. You also have a private bathroom, toilet and private outdoor terrace. Extra information regarding COVID-19: We respect the RIVM guidelines and keep a distance of 1.5 meters. Would you like to corona contactless check-in, you can use the key safe. You will then have access to the guesthouse via the key safe at the front door. One day before arrival you will receive a code and a short and simple instruction on how to open the key safe. I.v.m. with COVID-19 we ensure that hand soap, tissues and kitchen towels are available in the guesthouse. One day before arrival you will receive a digital list of restaurants in the area where you can pick up meals or have them delivered. In the middle of Limburg, the narrow waist of the country's southernmost province, you will find the stately city of Roermond (within walking distance of Herten). This atmospheric city is characterized by a very wide range of shopping, catering and culture, so you can easily spend a few days there! Roermond is very centrally located. It is close to the Belgian and German border, so abroad is literally around the corner. The city lies at the confluence of the river Roer in the Meuse and its surroundings are dominated by beautiful nature parks. In addition, the center of Roermond borders a vast water recreation area: the Maasplassen. Roermond is a city with a surprisingly rich past. That past began in Roman times when the city was a settlement on the Ruhr. Later the settlement was given city rights, in the late Middle Ages Roermond became a Hanseatic city, and later even one of the four capitals of the old Duchy of Gelre, second in size and largest in terms of trade. In 2009, the Midden Limburg town was voted Best Inner City 2009-2011 in the medium-sized cities category. Roermond has access to a very diverse range of shops and catering. In addition, many monumental buildings, imposing churches and beautiful squares adorn the Roermond city center. The city has an attractive shopping center with promenades, cozy terraces and a wide range of restaurants. As if it is not enough, Roermond is also known as a real shopping city! The range of shops is very extensive and many specialty shops and boutiques are located in monumental buildings in the historic heart of the city. Various gigantic megamalls such as the House and Garden Boulevard and the Retail Park are just outside the center. But The internationally known 'Designer Outlet Center' with brnds like Micheal Kors, Prada, Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, Calvin Klein, Gucci, Nike etc. are a few minutes walk from the city center. The combination of nature, water sports, culture and shopping and makes Roermond a unique city! * There is a bus stop within walking distance of the accommodation (approx. 180m) * Roermond has an NS trainstation. The distance from our guesthouse to the    trainstation is 3.4 km. In connection with COVID-19, we ensure that there is hand soap, tissues and kitchen paper in the guesthouse. You must take care of additional disinfectants yourself.
