With a TV in every bedroom and a fully functioning kitchen. The Sardinian Guesthouse is an original townhouse in the heart of the historical tourist town of Cobh, formerly known as Queenstown. The town is full of history and culture to explore and uncover in the various tourist attractions, sights, memorial gardens & monuments. Not only is the house situated in the heart of a historic town but it also has a rich history itself. Formerly home to the Sardinian Consulate we have restored this house back to its former glory. The house has 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, an open plan kitchen, living, dining room area and a separate snug. 3 of the bedrooms as well as the living room all command uninterrupted views over Cork Harbour, the second largest natural harbour in the world and Spike Island, voted best tourist attraction in Europe. We have included modern day essentials to provide the luxury & comfort of a consulate house. Free high speed unlimited WiFi, gas heating, fully equipped kitchen, tea, coffee, milk & sugar provided as well as toiletries, white linen and towels. When you let the house you let the full house, there is nobody else staying here just you so you can come and go as you please. At the time of booking we will arrange an approx arrival time so a member of our check in team can meet you at the property and get you settled in. Although you let the full house and are given the space and privacy to come and go as you please should you have questions at any stage i am always on hand to answer. there is a phone in the living room of the house which automatically phones me when you lift the reciever so you dont even need to memorise my contact number. When staying at the Sardinian Guesthouse you are surrounded be lots of great things to do and see. In Cobh town centre you have plenty of lovely bars & restaurants. Tourist attractions that are within a walking distance include, Cobh’s Titanic Experience, Cobh Heritage Centre, Spike Island Ferry, Escapade Cobh, Cobh Pastimes, Cork Harbour Self-Drive guided boat tours, Titanic Memorial Garden and lots more. Slightly further afield you have Fota Wildlife Park, Fota House & Gardens, Jameson experience & original distillery. Once you arrive at the Sardinian everything in the town of Cobh is within a walking distance, all bars, restaurants and tourist attractions. Cobh train station is also just a short walk from the house where you can get a train to Fota or on into Cork city or over to midelton for the Jameson Experience. When staying at The Sardinian Guesthouse we provide you with the essentials to get you started. There is Tea, Coffee & Sugar in the kitchen as well as fresh milk provided in the fridge when all guests check in. After that guests are booked on a self-catering basis when it comes to meals, however if you would require a welcome pack to include bread, butter, cold ham, cold chicken, cheese, biscuits, snacks & fruit we can provide this at the receipt price + a €10 service fee.
