Alnmouth Village, Cosy Bedroom & Private Bathroom

Our cottage is a two-minute walk to Alnmouth beach. The coastline is breathtaking with amazing sunsets/sunrises and an abundance of long beach walks. We have a golf course, restaurants, post office, gift shop, deli, and excellent public transport links. Our home is tucked away in a quiet lane off the main street, offering a lovely bedroom and private bathroom for our guests. It's comfortable, cosy, and perhaps a bit quirky - the perfect base to explore the Northumberland Coastline and Castles. Our guest bedroom is warm and cosy and includes a welcome tray offering tea/coffee/water/biscuits and a Kettle. You will have your own private bathroom situated next to your bedroom. If you are coming to stay for a special occasion, please let me know if you would like any special gifts purchasing for your arrival ie Champagne, flowers, cake, etc - or perhaps a table booked for dinner. If you are here on a cycling holiday, then bike storage is available free of charge. Alnmouth village is the perfect base for exploring the stunning Northumberland Castles and Coastline, steeped in history with breathtaking scenery. Walking, Cycling, Birdwatching, Sailing, Horse Riding - it's all here for you to enjoy. Or if you are looking for a completely chilled break, then why not try one of our local Health Spa's and just laze around all day drinking tea and reading the papers - the choice is yours! Parking in the village is free. Access for loading and unloading is always available at the front door and parking on the main street is free with no time restrictions. We have a bus stop in the village, which runs regularly every day. The East Coast main line stops just outside the village (approx 20 min walk). If you are travelling to Alnmouth by train, I am more than happy to collect you from the station. We also have a couple of Taxi companies operating in the village as well as cycle hire. As the guest space is located on the first floor, which is fully carpeted, we would politely ask that you don't wear outdoor shoes in this area. We don't offer breakfast, but there is a very good Deli in the village that does a great takeaway, which tastes even better when taken to the beach to enjoy.
