Pennyfarthing is a detached cottage in a peaceful setting, with breathtaking views of the sea and with direct access to the coastal path. A simply perfectly idyllic holiday retreat from where you can enjoy the magic of all 4 seasons. For over 150 years the cottage has kept watch over the Atlantic. Facing West it is the perfect spot to enjoy the spectacular sunsets over the ocean in Summer and the wild storms in Winter.. Kept in keeping with it's age this cottage has the best of the old and the new. With slate floors, granite stone walls, an aga, granite work tops and wooden cupboards it also has all the modern comforts of heating, upstairs carpets, a shower, a dishwasher and microwave etc. Situated on a rocky coastline with Pendeen Lighthouse in the near distance, and views of the ancient tin mine of Geevor nearby. Please note the minimum nights available for booking is 4. Cottage Details: Sleeps two Sheltered garden patio Oil fired central heating Kitchen/Diner with aga, microwave, fridge/freezer and dishwasher Sitting room with wood/coal stove Steep stairs so not suitable for any one who finds stairs difficult Double bedroom with a double bed and with superb sea views. Bathroom with shower over bath slate floors and granite work tops Faces West so perfect to enjoy the sunsets over the ocean TV, DVD and CD player No Wifi, but dongles can connect from here. Due to Covid we are currently asking guests to bring their own bedsheets and towels . Private Parking space Local pubs and shops only 1/4 mile walk Connects via a country path to the coastal path
