We are also nature lovers so we used a lot of natural materials to restore our family cottage: wood, stone and typical original Slovenian wooden furniture. Regina cottage is a pleasant 15-minute walk from Lake Rakitna, where you will find a convenient local restaurant, a children’s playground and the possibility of swimming in the lake, so bring your swimming suit and a towel with you! In the village, opposite the church, you will find a small local grocery store. Rakitna is a 30-minute drive from the center of Ljubljana, and on the way, you can also stop at larger stores such as Mercator (Preserje) and Ljubljana Rudnik (Leclerc, Mercator, Lidl, Eurospin ... shopping centers).
