the Farm House

The house is 1800 sq ft. There are 3 bedrooms and 3 baths. Only one bath has a shower, it is in the master bedroom. The other bathrooms have a claw foot tub and Jacuzzi tub. 22.4 miles from Gulf Shores beaches. convenient to many local attractions. I have a guidebook which provides beach parking info and wildlife board walks. OWA 12.2 miles away. 28.2 miles from downtown Mobile Alabama. Canoe camping trips. alabamaforeverwild Mobile-Tensaw Delta The house is said to be the first in Robertsdale with indoor plumbing and built in 1902. Two Czechoslovakian families shared the home in 20th century. The families were beekeepers and sausage makers of Robertsdale. It has all new electrical and plumbing. We spent time working on exterior last year after a bad hurricane that knocked over a lot of trees in area. Simple on the inside, a work in progress but clean and comfortable. Plenty of amenities and necessities on hand. The stairs to the upstairs are oak tread. Books and fun decor with historic theme. History of previous owners in pictures as well. Some children's books are available and other works regarding history. Aristotle, Shakespeare and fun wall hangings of historic figures relevant to western history. A Walmart is located a half a mile from the house and a laundry mat (currently no washer in the home) and grocery store are at the corner of 104 and 59, approximately a mile from the home. There is a guidebook for the home in the app describing beach parking with pictures, nature walks and local places to visit. Situated 22.4 miles from Gulf Shores Alabama just off of Hwy 59 or Gulf Beach Hwy. The home has been completely renovated for comfort. We are still lovingly working on and upgrading the home. The master bedroom is very comfortable and has a king size bed. The water is endlessly heated by a tank-less gas hot water heater. The master bedroom has its own bath and shower. There is a sleeper sofa downstairs at back and a secondary bath with toilet and tub. Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms one with queen bed and other with full. The bath upstairs has a claw foot tub but no shower. There is also a queen air mattress and single air mattress available. There is plenty of room for 6 to 8 guests. There are stairs at back and front of house. 4 steps at back of house. The driveway is at back of home. The front yard can be driven across as well. Just no driving over septic tank at back right corner of house (southeast). Pavers and markers in place there. I tend to give guests their privacy but I am only a message away. I have a co-host and one of us should be able to assist with anything needed during a guests stay. Mama Lou's is about 5 minutes from the house and is a great local lunch spot. Beautiful night sky at home. Large quiet yard. Laundromat is 1.6 mile away. Parking on site. The septic tank is located at back of house on right corner. I have placed pavers to prevent driving across at back of house. When you pull in the back driveway you can pull to garage and turn right driving down to the the steps but you must back out and go out the same way. Do not drive across back and cross over septic tank at southeast corner or field lines on east side of house. You can also pull around or park anywhere around burn pile and not pull past the tree at back of house. Convenient location. Many stars visible in the nigh sky. Lovely porch to sit on, large quiet yard. There is wifi and a workspace. There is little choice on internet in the area of home. The service is centurylink and at best 4 mbps. Okay for streaming but uploading and downloading is a bit slow.
