Welcome to Oak Ridge Guest house, where the hooting of cars is replaced with the cooing of the African doves, where you’ll see a sky full of stars in place of bright city lights and where your morning alarm won’t have to be a beeping alarm clock but rather the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and a scrumptious breakfast being prepared just for you! We at Oak Ridge strive to make your country break even better than a ‘home from home’ experience. Whether it’s an energetic, adventure filled holiday you have planned, or one where you would simply love to put your feet up and enjoy the peace and serenity that the Drakensberg mountains have to offer, we hope to make you wish your stay with us here at Oak Ridge would never end! Step free access to the Guest House can be enjoyed by wheel chair users. Our guests will have exclusive of the Guest House which includes the Breakfast Room, the Living Room with fireplace and the outdoor pool area. Guests are welcome to explore the property, including a walk down to the dam and/or the river. Cold drinks, chocolates, sweets, potato chips, peanuts etc are available to purchase from the Breakfast Room area. We would like our guests to feel as relaxed and as comfortable as though they were in their own homes. So, although we (the owners!) do reside on the farm, please know we respect our guests' desire for privacy and you can be assured that you will enjoy undisturbed use of the Guest House during your stay at Oak Ridge. However, if there is anything our guests need or if there is anything we can help with, we are only a knock-of-a-door away! Oak Ridge Guest House is located on the Drakensberg Gardens resort road in Underberg , where we are surrounded by mountains and farmlands with Mountain Biking, Walking, Hiking, Birding, Golf and Fly Fishing Oak Ridge is a real escape from the fast-paced living most of our guests know well, so to help our guests enjoy the slower paced, relaxed way of life out in the country, we do not have TV's in our guest rooms. However...! We do know that when the weather does turn here in the mountains and it gets chilly, wet or windy (or sometimes all three at once!), curled up in front of the TV can be just what the doctor orders! So for those not-so-perfect days/evenings, we do have a TV (with DVD player only; no satellite) in the Living Room and a selection of DVD's that our guests can enjoy.
