Cicely’s Place - Holiday Apartment by the Beach

Situated on a quiet residential street offering plenty of on-street parking, Cicely's Place is a charming upstairs two-bedroom property, in Seaton Sluice. There are several pubs which serve food, award winning fish & chip shop and Co-op in walking distance with good bus links. At the bottom of the street is access to the Seaton Sluice beach, at the top of the street is access to Holywell Dene. Cicely’s Place is pet friendly and we are more than happy to welcome up to two well behaved dogs. Ideal for a couple or small family wanting to enjoy the North East of England, you're spoilt for choice with coastline, areas of outstanding natural beauty and a thriving city all in close proximity. The bathroom is the first room you will discover which has a generously sized walk-in shower. There are two generously-sized bedrooms, comprising of a master double bedroom and a twin room with zip/link feature which allows the beds to be either 2 single or a double. They will be set up as singles unless otherwise stated. The cosy living/dining area has a dining table, a sofa and two armchairs. The galley-style kitchen offers plenty of space with all the necessary appliances and amenities. We provide information on the local area as well as history of our Property and why we have named it Cicely’s Place. On your arrival we provide a well stocked breakfast pack including bread, butter, milk, cereal, tea, coffee, sugar as well as a fresh breakfast from our local butchers. There are board games and a variety of books within the property if you just wasn’t to chill out and relax. The property is an upstairs flat but it has its own back yard area. We have provided a bistro table if you would like to take advantage of the outside space. We offer a “home from home” feel that has all the amenities you need inc WiFi, washing machine, tumble dryer, bench top dishwasher, hairdryer, smart TV in living room and TV/DVD in each bedroom. During the current climate we take cleanliness very seriously and we are an AA accredited COVID Confident site. Guests have private access to the whole property. Before your arrival we will send you our Information pack which is full of information about the property, the village, surrounding areas and activities. Seaton Sluice maybe a little village but it has a lot to offer including several pubs which serve food, a cafe, local shops, award winning fish & chip shop and ice cream parlour. However, you have the beautiful beach at the bottom of the street and Holywell Dene which is very popular for walking and cycling at the top of the street. There are several local attractions to explore and you are very central for Newcastle. Seaton Delaval Hall is also within walking distance which is now owned by the National Trust, there are several beautiful walks around the Hall and surrounding area. Seaton Sluice also boasts it very own Sculptor, Boat Builder and Yoga Teacher. Tom Newstead is one of a kind, an eccentric from the village who born and bred in Seaton Sluice. Visit him at Shanti Art and see his stunning work. The village has a good bus service in which you can travel to a host of places with ease.
