Private, relaxing place to stay in Oakridge! This charming four bedroom bungalow has a nice mix of vintage and updated features. Located in the middle of town, it is close to everything, and well stocked to make your stay welcoming and convenient. The house has two bedrooms downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. There is a large mud room with washer and dryer, fenced area for pets, and fire pit for your enjoyment. The main heat source is a thermostat controlled pellet stove that is easy to start and stock. Wifi is available as well as a TV with apple tv for your streaming services. The whole place is yours! Available by text or email, we want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Oakridge is an outdoor recreation hub! 5 rivers combine right here to form the main stem of the Middle Fork Willamette River offering endless fishing, boating and swimming options. 500 miles of single track trail is accessible from town. Hundreds more miles of quiet paved and gravel roads lead to three nearby wilderness areas. Waldo Lake and Willamette Pass ski area are both 30 minutes east, Oregon coast 90 minutes west and Crater lake 90 minutes east. Oakridge is the best spot to explore what western Oregon has to offer! The house is a short walk downhill to Highway 58, the business thoroughfare of Oakridge, where you will find restaurants, stores and gas stations. Uptown Oakridge is a short 2 mile bike ride or drive away. A car is recommended to best enjoy the area. The upstairs rooms are smaller and more rustic and the stairs are steep, typical for homes of that era. We offer 25mbs wireless internet. Reliable for streaming multiple devices. NOTE: Oakridge is rural and cell phone range varies. Verizon and AT&T work best. As far as I am aware, there is no T-Mobile or Sprint service. You can use T-mobile wireless calling when connected to wifi (at the house). With the right carriers, there is excellent cell coverage in town. Outside of town along the rivers there is often not cell service unless you are atop mountains and ridges.
