Secluded Farmhouse With Wonderful Views Between Toulouse And Carcassonne

This secluded property has fantastic 360 degree panoramic views with the Pyrennees clearly visible in the distance. The house has two former windmills, one of which has been converted to a private bedroom and bathroom. The remaining 5 bedrooms and four bathrooms are in the main house. The large swimming pool is heated and has an electric security cover. A unique feature is a large covered hangar open barn(known as a Hangar) attached to the main house and overlooking the pool. Off the Hangar is a summer kitchen/dining room. The house and grounds have been converted to provide a very comfortable house for winter or summer.We live here for almost 6 months of the year and so have a vested interest in ensuring that it is very comfortable and well equipped! Although secluded, the property is not isolated, with the village of Sales sur L'Hers only 4km away. Set in its own grounds there are plenty of shady private spots with hammocks and benches for peaceful relaxation. Entertainment includes 12ft. trampoline, sandpit, climbing frame, croquet, table tennis, giant chess, boules and a pitch and putt green. We provide UK channels on the TV. The house is on a hill ( hence the windmills!) and consequently the rooms and particularly the bedrooms, remain cool even in the hottest weather, although all the bedrooms are equiped with fans, all but the bunk room being ceiling mounted.
