The area has its own wastewater treatment plant. The small mountain village Eisentratten is located near the A10 motorway in Carinthia. Around 1400 there was an iron hammer factory in Eisentratten. The first Austrian rafting furnace was built in Kremsbrücke in 1541. August 1566, the first blast furnace in Eisentratten - built by Jakob Türgg - put into operation. The next motorway exit is either Rennweg or at the artists' town Gmünd. It takes about 20 minutes to get to Spittal an der Drau. To Villach about 45 minutes to 1 hour.
