KEF Guesthouse Family room (4person)

Kef Guesthouse has proudly served their customers since 2015 in its recently renovated facilities. The property is located right next to Keflavík international airport, by road #41 (Reykjanesbraut) which is the main road connecting all the cities, towns and villages of Iceland to its International Airport. Our location is just about 5 kilometers/5-6 minute drive away from the entrance of Keflavik international airport. Four person family room with shared bathrooms & showers. The family rooms offer the most privacy, located opposite to & away from the lobby and common room, just a few meters away from a second property entrance/exit point. At KEF Guesthouse we start early and prepare breakfast which is from 4:30 until 10:00 every morning. Front desk opening hours are from 04:30 - 24:00. From midnight or at 24:00 the Self Check In is activated and it stays active until things start rolling again at 04:30 (4:30am), no sweat guys, it's easy peasy. During the four & half hours between 24:00 & 04:30 the property is set to rest mode (quiet/sleep). Respect the tired & sleeping ones, please keep down your voices. All rooms offered have large double glass windows & curtains whether you like to absorb the daylight during the day or hunt for the Aurora (northern lights) at night, that is if you are lucky... For those searching the fresh & cold breath of Icelandic air there is no additional charge to it, just reach out & open a window, your room will have one for sure. On the other hand if you are looking to absorb some heat in your body, keep the window closed and pump some geothermal energy into your room by adjusting the temperature to a warmer & more comfortable setting. All rooms are equipped with a sink & running tap water (hot & cold) as well as a mirror. Cooking area / full kitchen, if you wish to cook something yourself. Drinks and snacks can be bought at the reception. Living room and Tv is also shared. Front desk opening hours are from 04:30 - 24:00. After midnight there will be a self check-in through the guesthouse reception, it is easy peasy. Check in starts at 15:00 (3pm) & check out is at 11:00 (11am) the following day. If needed, an early and/or late check-in/check-out can be at the front desk. Hotel and airport transfers are available 24 hrs a day. The KEF Guesthouse private airport shuttle is available for airport pick-up every day from 14:30 (2:30pm) until 23:30 (11:30pm) The same shuttle is available for airport drop-off from 05:00 (5am) until 11:00 (11am). For those arriving and/or departing outside the private shuttle hours there is a 24 hr taxi service at the airport as well as the guesthouse. Small shopping center 1 km Center of Keflavík 2 km The world famous Blue Lagoon is less than 20 minutes drive from the guesthouse as well as the geothermal area of Gunnuhver, the bridge between continents and more. There are whale watching tours and all kinds of other activities like museums and art sculptures all around.
