Enjoy staying in our charming Georgian home, quaintly set amongst trees, opening up to a breath-taking view of Bear River. We are in the perfect location between all the action. Equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable relaxing stay, after a day exploring. We are within walking distance to Bear River village, passing our local Winery on the way. And only a short drive from Digby and Annapolis Royal. Nestled between the Annapolis Valley, French Shore and Keji National Park. This endearing two-bedroom home has a bright spacious kitchen, intimate dining room and cozy lounge with a large wood stove. TV and an array of games for those evenings in. There is a second level three piece bathroom, equipped with a shower and a main level three piece bathroom with a claw foot tub. On the main floor there is a private office space for those needing to check in with work. Its best feature is a sunny elevated deck off the kitchen, looking down through the garden to the river. You can truly lose time here, watching birds soar and the tide change, revealing the snaking mud flats. Our sheltered fire pit extends a wider view of the river and adjacent newly budding vineyard. A peaceful spot to immerse yourself and appreciate nature. Take time to wander the tiered landscaping and walk the woodland trail towards the water and another seating area. Explore the art galleries in the village, Flight of Fancy, Blue Mind and Artworks. Artworks is ran by a collaboration of very talented local artists displaying and selling their own work. Enjoy the revolving artists showcased at Sissiboo Coffee, whilst indulging in scrumptious baked goodies and coffee. Beans are roasting most days, giving a toasty aroma to the village. Rosie and Myrtle’s Cafe has a friendly wholesome atmosphere and is a favourite spot for the locals, serving breakfast through to dinner, most days. Tacocat Taqueria aka The Den, is a laidback local pub, serving authentic Mexican food during lunch and dinner, with a rivertop patio in the back. Not forgetting Bear Town Pizza offering take out and Bear River Grocery. Last but not least, a tour and tasting at Bear River Winery on your way home. I’d recommend a bottle of their rose.. bliss!
