Beautiful 120 m2 original loft conversion in Komarno town centre. The courtyard and terrace overlooking the nearby church guarantees a peaceful rest along the best Cafe's, restaurants and culture in town. Bratislava, Vienna and Budapest are within easy reach. Kindly note that we can not accommodate pets, apologies! - NO PETS - The apartment is situated in the town centre with all the best cafe's, restaurants and culture on your doorstep. As the apartment is housed within a courtyard - this guarantees a peaceful and quiet time with all you need just minutes away on foot. It has a beautifully preserved original wooden roof construction dated to 1906. Sleeping is arranged on an elevated platform (mezzanine) right under the roof with beautiful views of the night sky or more conventionally on the bedroom floor. Additional sofa bed sleeps extra person at just EURO 10 per person per night, 2 en-suite bathrooms and a 3rd separate wc ensures privacy for all. The minimal, straight forward approach to the creation of the living space and the number of stairs might not be suitable for families with very small children (however we frequently enjoy our time here with friends and children - just need to watch out) The apartment is rather large and could accommodate more people, especially great to have friends and family for dinner.. The apartment is non smoking, however you may smoke on the terrace or outside in the courtyard. Guest can enjoy the whole apartment, it has its own separate entrance from within the courtyard. The apartment has its own private terrace leading out direct from the living room - ideal for alfresco dining or breakfast in the warmer months. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the rooftops and the nearby church plus the old school where Jokai Mor -the great Hungarian writer used to be a student. In fact Jokai was born in a house just a few metres away! I can be reached 24/7 via phone, my family who lives in a separate apartment in the house will be taking care of you. The apartment is located in the town centre with cafes, restaurants, entertainment and the local thermal spa only minutes away by walk. Taxi fares within Komarno are fixed to EURO 2.00 should you need one. Brigetio Thermal Baths in Komarom (HU) are a short taxi ride max. 5 minutes. There are two paid car parks less than a minute walk away. Trains to Budapest and Vienna leave from the station in Komarom (HU), that is a 20 minute walk or a short taxi ride. The property is less than 1 min walk from Pohranicna Ul. paid car park. Free car park may be found here: Q44M+6G Komárno, Slovakia (10 mins walk) BICYCLES Bicycles may be available to arrange for the duration of your stay given that you place an enquiry in advance. Please note there is an additional fee to have access to our bicycles. The fee is EURO 10 per day per bike. We have two bikes. The bicycles can be arranged only for the whole of your stay and not for any particular day. For the avoidance of doubt should your stay be for 3 nights the arrangement for the bicycles is for the same number of days not less. Should you take our bicycles you must ensure whenever you are outside of our property that these are not left unattended and if not in use must locked with the provided lock and keys. Should the bicycles, bicycle locks and the keys be not returned, then the replacement fee per bike is EURO 300, locks EURO 50. You acknowledge all responsibility without any limitations for using the bicycles, safekeeping and returning the bicycles to us. Any loss or damage must be reported before your departure. Please check your travel insurance regarding having sufficient cover in place and how to proceed in case of a claim. - NO PETS -Please be kindly informed that we do not accommodate pets.
