Situated in the heart of Whitley Bay, 500m from the beautiful Panama Beach. This gorgeous home-from-home provides a charming and comfortable location in which to explore the vibrant high street with its fantastic restaurants, shops, bars, cinema and cafes. Visit the famous Spanish City, St Marys Lighthouse or one of the many Castles or National Trust properties dotted along the coastline. Not to mention the fantastic city of Newcastle 'The Toon' just 25 minute by metro from nearby station. 209 Park View has all you need for a comfortable stay. We have wifi, a large TV, ironing board, washing machine and hair dryer as well as all the expected kitchen amenities. We provide coffee, tea, milk and a basic welcome pack breakfast. The main bedroom can be made up as a super king or twin bedroom which you can request on booking. The two main bedrooms have large wardrobes. We cater for the littlest guests too with travel cot, high chair, bath slip mat and stair gates available on request. We also provide a range of books, games and toys to make your stay a real home from home. Full use of entire house - There is no outdoor space or back yard. You will be able to contact me via text or phone call prior to and throughout your stay. 209 Park View is a great base to explore Whitley Bay and the beautiful North East Region. The property is in the heart of a foodie hot spot! Situated opposite is the fantastic Papa Ganoush, the East Mediterranean Mezze restaurant. Fancy a take away? Ahar Indian restaurant is opposite 209 Park View. If you're Vegan or vegetarian or like you're food 'clean' try Pulp Fiction Future Food with its mid century furnished throw back interior. Needing a sweet treat? The cakes at Eden Cafe are to die for! Try Kith and Kin for a great lunch and coffee refuel. They serve arguably the best poached eggs this side of the Tyne! Like your coffee? Relish Coffee can sort you out with a home roasted bag to take as a souvenir. When the lights go down and we're at an acceptable cocktail hour, head to Fox and Finch for their 2 drinks and tapas deal! All of this and we haven't even left Park View!! A must visit is to the extraordinarily beautiful and newly renovated Spanish City where you can find the poshest fish and chips you'll ever eat! (with each full adult meal children eat free from their own menu, Monday to Friday). Then sip prosecco looking out across the sea and up to the iconic St Mary's lighthouse. The beach is just 500 meters away, we have provided some buckets and spades to get you going. If it's a rainy day and you're staying local, Whitley Bay has you covered. Try local Hotpotz where you can decorate a mug or plate and collect the next day. Our local independant Jam Jar Cinema is tucked right in the middle of town showing the latest films. Want a seaside throw back? Hit the arcades and play mini bowling for just £2, or if you fancy a real challenge book into our local pirate escape room with experiences available for younger and older groups. Whitley Bay is easy to walk around but if you fancy exploring the wider area the best way is by Metro. Monkseaton Metro Station is about a 10 minute walk from 209 Park View, where you can visit the village of Tynemouth which boasts a brilliant large market on Saturdays and Sundays right inside the metro station. Whilst there Tynemouth Priory' is definitely worth a visit. The Metro continues on into Newcastle where there are all the shops, bars, restaurants and entertainment you could need, and a stunning Quayside. It is also possible to travel by the Metro right into Newcastle Airport or Newcastle Central Station. The Theatre Royal sits in the heart of the city if your here to take in a show or if you're a Newcastle supporter head to St James' Park to see the stadium of our Black and White Toon Army'! We also have an array of museums and art galleries such as The Great North Museum (Free), The Baltic Art Gallery (Free), The Discovery Museum (Free), The Center for Life, and The Laing Art Gallery (Free). Using the car is the most suitable way to travel along the coast or why not experience our 'Coastal Route'. However, there is a coastal bus service that runs right up the coast. You can find all timetables online and a print out of the seasonal timetables is situated in the property. There is no parking directly at property but free unlimited parking 150 meters away and 2 hour parking less that 100 meters away that is handy for unloading and loading into the property.
