The room is light and airy and has a microwave, bar-fridge, DSTV and a gas Braai on the balcony. The entrance, room and bathroom is completely private. Light and airy private bedroom and bathroom with glass sliding door onto own shady veranda area with table, chairs and gas barbecue. Free offroad parking 5meters from entrance. Shower and WC en suite. Farmhouse breakfast incl. tea or coffee an optional extra at R60,00 p.p.(smaller breakfasts are also available) During the COVID-19 scare we are being extra careful with cleaning and sanitizing the room and all surfaces available to guests and where possible are leaving a 1 day window between bookings. In the room there is a microwave, bar fridge and television with DSTV. Note ! There is no kitchen or stove, but crockery, cutlery, salad bowl and meat dish for the barbeque is provided. Some freezer space can be made available in host’s freezer if required. A flask, corkscrew, coffee plunger and braai tools are provided. The table and chairs can easily be moved into the room. Locked garage space available to store motorcycles or bicycles. The garden is available to guests. Bedroom, bathroom and balcony for sole use by guests with lockable outside door Private balcony and entrance gate. As the premises has a private entrance from a private balcony it is possible for guests to do a self check-in if preferred. Garage space on premises for bicycles or motorcycles can be arranged. Freezer space is available in hosts kitchen. We are happy to socialise with guests and to answer any questions regarding the area or the town’s infrastructure. Guests who wish to do their own thing can always contact us for info, If needed. We are always willing to help or accomodate special needs. A small menu is provided for those guests who would like to join us for meals or to eat in privacy in the room or on the balcony. Upmarket neighborhood 5 mins from all major amenities however, please note there is an increase in traffic from mid December to 7th January. There are pleasant walks up and down the river edge. River and sea fishing also by boat can be done nearby. Our house is situated 500m from the river up a moderate slope. All roads in the area are tarred. Own transport is advisable as there is no formal public transport nearby. Free offroad outside parking at premises. Own transport is advisable. Small convenience store 1km away, main shopping centre 3km. Nearest restaurant 1km. Waterskiing, kayaking and padola's available for hire over the Christmas holiday period at the rivers edge and river mouth. Horse riding available 1.5km. Sorry No Smoking inside.
