The house is over 100 years old and built traditionally with reed, clay and wood. We kept the original rustic architecture. We used the same organic materials to build 2 baths and an open-air living/kitchen for guests. One of the few houses in the village of Jurilovca that still keeps alive archaic building techniques. The reed roof and the clay walls keep out the warm in the hot summer days. We have a yard of 400 sqm. Here we created a small orchard where various trees bloom: cherries, sour cherries, apricots, figs, quinces, walnuts, grapes. Our guests can enjoy these tasty fruits throughout their stay. Guests have access to the whole household. They are the only ones living here. Beeing a tourist guide, I can go with you in different kind of trips, according to your interest. I also have for rent kayaks and bicycles for spending a great time in the nature by your self. The house is near the harbour. Jurilovca is 1 hour distance (by boat, over Golovita Lake) from Gura Portitei - a resort at the Black Sea shore. 6 km away is the archaeological site of Argamum - the oldest ancient city from Romania. Also here is Dolosman Hill, the only rocky cliff from Romanian shore. The main route is Bucharest-Constanta-Jurilovca, by car, bus or train.
