The Estalagem de Marvão is located within the historic walled town center of Marvão. This restored property has comfortable rooms in an ancestral environment in the Portuguese Interior and includes a shop selling regional products. All of the house’s air-conditioned rooms feature a private bathroom with a hairdryer, wooden floors, free WiFi and flat-screen satellite TV. The building has been renovated, whilst maintaining its original structure, antique furniture and access to regional agricultural and handicraft products. A rich buffet breakfast, with regional products, is served each morning in the Estalagem’s dining room. This shop sells regional food products as well as arts and crafts associated with the area.The Inn Provides guided tours inside the village and also on the mountain tracks around it. During the summer, guests can use the municipal swimming pools for free. It is a 29-minute drive to Portalegre, with its many shops, restaurants, cafés and bars.
