Beautiful premises in the green heart of Gummersbach with direct location on two dams. The perfect place for relaxing, hiking, biking, swimming, kayaking & stand-up paddling. The city center with a new cinema and event hall, a shopping mile, many bars and restaurants can be reached by car or public transport in a few minutes. Are you coming by train? We would be happy to pick you up from Gummersbach station. Are you more than 4 people? Then you can book it. Our rooms are spread over two floors. On the entrance level there is a large living room, kitchen, bathroom (toilet, sink, shower) and the terrace with lounge and a view of the Aggertalsperre. Common use for all guests and us. The beautiful guest room area is on the 1st floor. Sole use by you. There are two bedrooms (a double bed 1.40 x 2.0 m and a double bed 1.60 x 2.0 m), a living room with couch, TV and music system as well as a table with 4 chairs, a balcony with a great view of the lake and a bathroom with (toilet, sink, bathtub). Another bathroom with (toilet, sink, shower) is located one floor below. Our guests have access to all common rooms as well as to the garden, balcony and terrace. (Of course, smoking is permitted everywhere outside) We are available to our guests around the clock and always have good tips for events and excursions. If you want, you can also join us and simply enjoy the evening with us, family and friends, or simply join in when we are barbecuing, eating or going out on activities. A dam in which swimming is tolerated. If you want, you can also borrow a pedal boat. There are also many hiking and biking trails along the water. The Genkeltalsperre with its great hiking trails in all directions is also directly adjacent (2 minutes on foot). Swimming is forbidden here and it is very quiet and idyllic. A walk or a bike ride is worth it. The center in Gummersbach can be reached quickly by car, bus or taxi. (approx. 10 min / 7 km). There are numerous restaurants, bars, cafes, a shopping center and an indoor swimming pool with a sauna area, a new large cinema and event halls with a large number of program presentations. The next train station is in Gummersbach-Zentrum, approx. 7 km away. From there you can get to us by bus or taxi. Walking distance from the bus stop approx. 5 min. "Lilly", our cat, also lives with us. Although she is almost always outside, she's still curious who's there from time to time :-)
