The Pioneer House - Desert Modern on the park

The Pioneer House is a modern take on desert living. Located on the edge of Pioneertown with step-out-the-door access to the park, its 1.5 acres is an outdoor paradise with all you need to unwind. The home is designed for peace and relaxation for two. Get lost in the silence in front of the fire pit, lounge in our custom designed hanging chair, dine outside or stargaze in the hammock area. Hike in the park or hangout inside with smart-home lighting. The house offers many ways to relax. The home has been renovated with solace and relaxation in mind-- perfect for breaks away from the everyday routine. And while it’s great for unplugging, the house’s modern rustic style offers the latest in home automation and WiFi for when guests want to access the internet, watch Netflix or Hulu. A fully equipped kitchen with outdoor barbeque makes the Pioneer House perfect for preparing your own meals, and the house is stocked with the latest amenities (with Jura espresso machine and many other tools to make excellent coffee) and lots of unique touches specifically chosen to make it special for its guests. House access pin codes are provided to guests and are active for the duration of the stay. There are security cameras located only on the outside of the property and can be turned off or viewed by guests through the digital display within the home. We also support local artist who we have worked with to provide many custom made unique sculptures throughout the property. Only minutes to Pioneertown for food pickup, including the famous & fabulous Pappy And Harriet’s, where a variety of popular music acts have been known to show up for a set when in the area (we still regret missing Paul McCartney in person). The town was founded by Dick Curtis & Roy Rogers in (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) as a themed live-in Old West movie set but has since evolved to artist community with live music at Pappy & Harriets and a western stunt show. Driving to the Pioneer House does not require an SUV and walking to Pioneertown is only 15 minutes. (Hidden by Airbnb) maps is recommended getting to the house or around the area - Our hot tub is no longer available but have upgraded with fire pit and 7' designer outdoor dining area. - We do not allow bluetooth speakers or any loud devices outside of the house as sound travels very far out of respect to our neighborhood - The neighborhood is quite and this location is designed for relaxation, no parties or gatherings are allowed - The desert is very dry so no fireworks, open flame or smoking is allowed on the property - No pets or animals allowed
