Adorable Iowa City Cottage

Our charming and sweet two bedroom home is located less than 1.5 miles from downtown Iowa City and U of Iowa campus. It is tastefully decorated with plenty of indoor and outdoor space to comfortably relax, cook, spend time with loved ones, or use as a space to sleep and explore Iowa City. Our front yard has 2 chairs for a morning cup of coffee and sunrise. Our home is stocked with games and comfortable blankets for your use and has a large outdoor area with a screened in porch and fire pit. Our space is open concept and perfect for an individual or couple who want a quiet, tree lined street, outdoor space to grill and play, all the modern comforts of home, and little touches that we have taken from all of our own travels using AirBnb (70 stays logged). We have a beautiful screened in porch with Adirondack chairs for a rainy day or a sunny outdoor afternoon. It is a cheap Uber ride to downtown or an easy drive (less than 8 minutes). You are within walking distance to Deluxe coffee, less than 1 mile from the local grocery store (Hy-Vee), and three blocks from Highland Park and local bike trails. In addition, the living room and the bedroom have smart TVs with access to Hulu Live and Netflix (in living room). Guests will be able to access all parts of the house--front seating area, living room, kitchen, full bathroom, bedroom, office, screened in porch, grill, fire pit, and driveway. We are available for any questions or concerns via text message or the AirBNB app. Our property manager lives very close to the home in case of an urgent matter. The neighborhood is quiet with trees, working professionals, and space for peace and calm. Parking is available on the driveway (1 car) and off street. Due to the recent Covid-19 pandemic, we are taking diligent precautions to steam, sanitize, and ensure that the cottage is safe and ready for your visit. In consideration of the current regulations in Iowa City regarding the pandemic as well as the safety of our neighbors and ourselves, only guests that are staying at the cottage should be present. If a circumstance exists in which outside guests would be in/on the property, we would expect to be notified in advance of the stay, and we will consider the request.
