Cowboy Adventures, LLC offers 2 cozy, comfy cabins in a rural, peaceful atmosphere. Each cabin has a queen bed. Have you ever imagined yourself in the Cowboy West, camping, cooking meals over a fire, riding a horse through open country? Then this Western-Style Vacation for adults and children is for you. Job of Ranch Manager belongs to Keith, a cowboy from New Mexico where he helped parents on 30,000 acre ranch. Located at the end of Keller Road in the beautiful village of Lindow. Sunshine Ranch is a great place to relax, enjoy nature, feel the peaceful quiet. We are a working ranch. Guests are invited to help with ranch chores. This is all included in the base rate. There is an additional charge if you wish to enjoy a horseback trail ride, take boat tours on beautiful local lakes. We provide bicycles at no extra cost so you can ride into the center of Lindow or the family sports center, take long walks through beautiful meadows or just sit on your deck sipping your favorite drink and watch another beautiful sunset. Your cabins include a queen bed with warm comforters, both lanterns and electricity for lighting, electric. Our new added communal kitchen includes oven, stove, microwave, coffee maker, pots, pans, comfortable dining table and chairs, BBQ grill or pit for open fire. Guests are expected to bring their own food and beverages, prepare their own meals. Please check with Keith or Sonja if you have questions. Keith and Sonja are friendly, willing to share their knowledge about the western cowboy way, answer questions or show you how it's done. Their horses are gentle registered American Paint horses. Horseback trail rides, lessons or specific western activities such as roping must be confirmed prior to booking. There is an additional charge for horseback riding. 1 guest rider; 1 guide. Check with Keith or Sonja for amounts. Two cozy cabins have covered decks. You have access to the entire ranch. Visit with the horses. Sit near the custom landscaped pond listening to water flowing over and along the rocks, beautifully lit after dark. A short walk brings you to the outdoor toilet, urinal, shower, washer/dryer and newly added fully equipped Communal Kitchen and Dining Area. It is very quiet, scenic and filled with nature at every turn. For an additional fee, we offer a variety of customized activities around the ranch such as horseback riding, or a relaxing boating trip around one of the many beautiful lakes in the area. If you are wanting a private, restful week or weekend retreat, we will respect your privacy.
