Hike the Historic Aqueduct Trail to the scenic and stunning Croton Dam. Enjoy nature! Lakewood Estate cleaning team disinfects surfaces often, especially between stays. We pay extra attention to areas that are touched regularly, such as doorknobs, drawer pulls, the toilet flush lever, faucet handles, remote controls, and light switches. We let your cleaning solution stand and wait 3-5 minutes before wiping a sprayed surface to give it time to really disinfect. We wash towels and linens regularly. And provide separate hand towels for each bedroom. For longer-stay guests, Lakewood Estate staff washes linens and towels to provide our guests with fresh sets of towels. The cottage is 2 miles from Metro North Croton Harmon station. Hike to Croton Dam on Historic Aqueduct Trail. Cottage has internet, no TV. A car is strongly recommended or plan to use uber or cabs to get around to local restaurants and grocery stores. The entire Cottage, Estate tennis court, Lake, outdoor patio, and screened in porch, vegetable gardens, and meadow. Access to hiking trails. Hike the woods and enjoy the peacefulness. Guests are given total privacy but we are a text away to cater a meal to be delivered to cottage or for anything else they may need. Neighborhood is private and remote. Uber and taxi access.
