Due to the state of emergency called in Michigan in March 2020, our units are currently only available for rent long-term. Cozy and comfortable main floor fully outfitted studio apartment in 1900 Victorian house located in the historic Stuart Neighborhood of Kalamazoo. Close to K College, WMU, Waldo Stadium, train station and downtown Kalamazoo. Off street parking. The studio is outfitted with a gorgeous antique carved oak highback double bed. The vintage appeal resonates with such details as floor-to-ceiling built in cupboards in both the living area and the private kitchen. Full private bath includes a tub/shower with tile walls on three sides. The antique double bed makes the studio perfect for a single traveler, but can comfortably accommodate two guests who really like each other and understand that beds were shorter centuries ago. It is a historic home with modern conveniences such as individual unit central air and heat, so you can control the temperature in the studio. There is a private back entry to this first floor unit and guests can conveniently exit through the formal front shared foyer. Includes ample off street parking for up to two cars. Beyond having access to the fully outfitted apartment, guests may use the basement coin-op laundry. For short term stays, enjoy fresh ground coffee, juice and an array of breakfast options. We are currently only hosting long term stays. For health and safety, we have removed shared items. This is a strictly non-smoking property. No parties. Only registered guests are allowed on the property or in the apartment. Absolutely no unauthorized overnight guests--this is a liability and legal occupancy issue. This not a hotel, it is a private home. Please treat it as such.
