The renovation was completed to an exceptional standard, and was featured in a full length article in Living France magazine. The property is located in a quiet and relaxing hamlet 1 mile from the village of Vaas and the river Le Loir. Within easy reach is the bustling small town of Chateau du Loir which has a fabulous range of shops, cafes and restaurants as well as a fantastic Saturday market. The main A28 motorway is only 4 miles away, making the channel ports (2 hours) and the tunnel (4.5hrs) within easy reach. Tours airport is an easy drive, only 40 minutes. The local area is rich in history and is full of apple orchards, corn fields and sunflowers. Only 50 meters from the property is the Loir cycle network, a fantastic way of exploring the local area. The property offers easy access to the world famous chateaux, the closest being only 8 miles away at Le Lude. Wine enthusiasts can enjoy the world class Loire wines from Muscadet in the Weat to Sancerre in the East of the Loire Valley. The closest vineyards in Bourgueil, Tourraine, Vouvray and Jasnieres are all within an easy drive. The gite is located equal distance between the fascinating cities of Tours and Le Mans, both of which offer direct TGV services to Paris within 60 mins. The large rear garden is a real sun trap, chairs and a patio table as well as a BBQ will allow guests space to enjoy the wonderful weather the region enjoys.
