Mountain like Retreat in Charlotte-Twin

Our serene mountain like home with its backwoods feel is in south Charlotte off Providence Road (Hwy. 16), just minutes from shopping/restaurants. We are close to Ballantyne, Waxhaw, Weddington, Monroe and Matthews. Awake to the peaceful surroundings and enjoy the front porch, a walk around the circle, the pool, and outdoor shower. Shopping/restaurants are minutes away. Work or play, seize the day. We also have a private suite upstairs with it's own bath and give discounts for long term stays. This listing is for a room with two twin beds. We have three additional bed rooms: one double, one queen, and one queen. If you need another room, please see our other listings for availability. $5 for each additional person per night. Guests have full use of the pool and all common areas. The master suite, basement, and attics are off limits. Owners live in house where guests stay and interact as much or as little as guests prefer. The neighborhood is conducive to relaxing strolls with little traffic. The property has ample passenger vehicle parking, but no large trucks or vans are permitted. Directions from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport: Take R C Josh Birmingham Parkway from the airport to Billy Graham Parkway South to I-77. Take I-77 South to exit 1B for James G Martin Freeway/I-485E toward Pineville. Exit I-485 at exit 57 and turn right onto Hwy 16/Providence Road toward Weddington. Go 3.7 miles and turn left onto Lochaven Road. Go 1.0 mile and turn right to stay on Lochaven Road. DO NOT MISS THIS TURN!!! (If you do not turn right the paved road will end and cross a dam with extremely large, car size potholes.) We provide coffee and tea. We have two small dogs (Chihuahua & Jack Russell mix), but do not allow pets. Maximum two guests per room.
