Best located house in town

Tanginn is an old family house built in 1913. It has been in our family since 1935. It is newly renovated in the old style, but has some modern essentials. There are two master bedrooms, one bathroom, a kitchen and a living room on the ground floor. The house is located by the harbor, with great view over the bay and Súgandisey - island. All year round, the harbor is buzzing with life. Its only a short walk to the closest restaurants, the Seatours office and the bus stop. Tanginn has been newly renovated by my parents, myself and three brothers. Most of the furniture was made in town and belonged to my grandparents. On the ground floor are two bedrooms with queen size beds. One fully equipped bathroom that also includes a washing machine. The kitchen has all the modern essentials every house needs. The living room has a TV and a DVD player, three antic chairs and a rocking chair made in town with real seal skin. My uncle caught the seal many years ago before I was even born. The attic is almost finished, there are just small details that are left. There is one single bed upstairs, and there is room for 2 - 3 more. So the house can actually fit more than four people. There are outdoor furniture so you can drink your coffee in the morning sun, and grab one or two ice cold beers while watching the harbor life and sundown. Guest will have full access to the first floor, and the attic if they wish. The basement is unavailable. We will do our best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Stykkishólmur is one of the most beautiful towns in Iceland mainly because of all the old houses and thousands of islands that surround the town. There are a lot of things to do in Stykkishólmur and it has various types of restaurants and museums. There are also a lot of places to visit outside of Stykkishólmur like the most photographed mountain in Iceland, Kirkjufell, black beaches and the island Flatey for instance. I have more detailed information about the area which I will of course share with guests! The property is easy to get to. Just drive the main street, Aðalgata, all the way til it ends at the harbor. The house is hard to miss and is the closest one to the island Súgandisey. There are a lot of parking spaces available. It is only 2 minute walk to the bus stop that goes to Reykjavík or Akureyri.
