The magnificent Cēsis Castle, built by the Livonia Brothers of the Sword in the 13th century, is its main attraction. One of the best ways to explore the romantic castle is by taking a candlelight tour of its dark dungeons and stairways. Visitors can also take part in interactive workshops and medieval activities, such as archery.
