Peaceful & Bright Los Gatos Home

Located in a quiet, friendly community. Just 12 miles from San Jose Airport (49 miles from San Francisco Airport), 1 block to the park, 1/2 mile from daily shopping, about 1 mile from charming downtown Los Gatos, and 24 miles from the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk. Enjoy relaxing in this feel good home. You will be warmly welcomed and given contacts for your neighbors and places to go. We enjoy meeting our guests and keeping in touch. Guests have access to the vegetable garden and fruit trees. The garage space will not be available for cars. Guests may have access to bicycles. We have helpers close by if you need anything during your stay. For summer living: Catch a little league game or play tennis at the park just two blocks away. There is a playground and lots of activity. Make friends with the neighbors. Row or sail on Vasona Lake or take a trip to Henry Cowell Redwood State Park, many beaches around Santa Cruz, or head up the City and nearby wine tasting. Los Gatos itself is a charming destination town. The San Jose airport is only 20 minutes away by car. Groceries and shopping are only a half mile away. A car is recommended. Public transit is not readily available. Bus 49 runs along Los Gatos Blvd. (1/2 mile away) and stops at the Winchester Transit Center for Light Rail. Light rail connects to downtown San Jose and event center, and Great America and Levi Stadium. This is our twelfth summer renting out our own home. We don't have a lot of reviews because we only have one or two guests per year. You will feel at home here with all the linens, kitchen and laundry supplies, spices and condiments, games and puzzles, and warm atmosphere. The two main bathrooms were just redone in March 2019. Now everything is updated.
