The Top Floor @ Cantref House is a self contained one bedroom accommodation

The very spacious (4 Star graded by Visit Wales) Top Floor is part of a large family home but is completely self contained which benefits from its own entrance, accessed via 26 outdoor steps. It is brightly decorated with a quirky feel. Great views of the Brecon Beacons from the lounge, bedroom and balcony. There is an information/Reading room which has a telescope, leaflets, maps and books on the local area with views looking across to the Black Mountains. Off the main entrance from the kitchen there is an outdoor balcony area with seating available. On arrival there is tea, coffee, milk and a small loaf of bread included. Bed Linen, towels, kitchen necessities, toiletries and toilet rolls are all provided. Directions Leave the A40 signposted Llanfrynach. Look out for the brown tourist signs for Cantref Riding/Adventure Farm. Turn off the dual carriageway immediately after the second brown sign. Keep turning and bearing right following the brown horseshoe signs for about 2 miles until you go over a little bridge and start to climb a hill, passing Camp Cynrig (glamping site) on your left, then you will see church gates and then Cantref House all on your left. Drive onto the drive at the front of the house ( I will try and have the gates open) park and press the bell on the front door. If there is no response - proceed through the small gate which leads into the garden and you will see the staircase to your entrance . I maybe in the garden but if you can’t see me you will find the key in the key safe located on the wall at the top of the staircase. I will let you know the combination in a separate message before your arrival. Let yourselves in and I will catch up with you on my return.
