Springwater Cottages - Cranny. This Cottage is secluded and ideal for a couple. A private Bedroom, with en-suite facilities and a very well equipped kitchenette. Springwater Cottages are situated in a scenic valley, surrounded by Sandstone ridges. We are all about peace and quiet: we have stunning stars, the peace of nature and no noise polution. You are most welcome to walk wherever your eye can see. Walks are rustic and mostly exploratory by nature, varying from easy strolls to rather strenuous excursions up the mountain. Mountain biking on our MANY back-roads are immensely popular. Of course just sitting on your stoep/veranda and soaking up the peace is high on our personal favourite list ;-) Especially with a glass of wine during sunset while an easy fire is warming your soul. We prefer to welcome our guests personally and will show you to your Cottage, explaining our area in as much or little detail as you prefer. While we love making our guests feel welcome, we do respect the privacy of people. We live in a small valley, about 8 by 10km. It is extremely peaceful here and due to a combined effort from all involved, we are seeing a slow return of many wildlife animals such as kudu, warthog, reedbuck and so forth. Our birds of prey populations have increased tremendously as well. The sandstone formations, bordering the valley makes for spectacular sunrises and sunsets. We supply complimentary wood, for both the indoors woodstove and the outdoors braai/barbecue area. The Cottage is very well appointed with cutlery, crockery and appliances. We supply towels and best of all: the linen! Ember Down linen features on all beds. This is Pure Goose Down duvets and 400 Thread Count Egyptian Cotton. Our water is straight from a spring in the mountains and arguably some of the best available. The catchment area of these springs are inaccessible to motorized transport which is excellent as modern farming has not polluted the catchment area with fertilizers or herbicides .
