Countryfeeling in "Südwind"

You do not just rent a beautiful apartment in a lovingly restored country house – you also rent an extraordinary concept: if you like, you can dine with us at the large table in front of the fireplace of our main house. Various recreational or relaxing offers and workshops are suitable all season round and will make your stay unforgettable Südwind: The apartment "Südwind" was built in the former stable of the farm. Its historical elements have been carefully integrated: the vaulted ceiling (known as "Prussian capping ceiling"), which is supported by a 300 kg cast iron column, has been preserved in its original form. The old stable-doors have been refurbished and used with the original iron fittings to become particularly rustic room doors. The towel holders do not come from any hardware store; instead they are made from the original calf harness, and a nice old iron window now serves as a bathroom mirror. "Südwind" is 66 square meters in size and is designed for 2 guests. It has a daylight bathroom with a walk-in shower, a large storage room and a separate bedroom furnished with "Hülsta" furniture. In the stylish living-dining room, there is a fully equipped "Nolte" kitchen with dishwasher, oven and refrigerator. The Bright wicker furniture, stove, LED satellite TV with DVD player and the modern dining table give you all the comforts of modern life. Through the large, rung glass windows and doors and from the southern terrace, you can enjoy a romantic view into the garden with the former chicken house. For a healthy indoor climate, there are handmade, open-pore terracotta-tiles under which there is modern floor heating. From our house there are 9 KM to the middle of Schleswig Holstein. So trips to eastsea or northsea, to Kiel, Hamburg, Flensburg, Plön or Husum dont need more than 30/ 60 minutes. But there are also a lot of walking or cyceling pathes in Naturpark Aukrug, or along the canal. A car is recommanded for your trips. Pets allowed, but may not run free. No smoking in the appartements. Smoking is allowed at the terrace.
