Immaculate Detached House on the Causeway Coast

Latharne Lodge is a fully furnished house is the perfect combination of local chicness and modern comfort, perfect for family vacations, business trips, and groups of travellers going along the Antrim Coast. The house sleeps 6 people in 3 exquisite bedrooms. A bathroom with bath tub and stand-up shower are all upstairs. The house has been tastefully decorated, with each detail contributing to the warmth and homely feeling which you can enjoy in each room. From artistic paintings and the beautiful fireplace, to the chic modern furniture completed by the mix of serene patterns in the textiles that dress the house, each room has its own story. There is a comfy dining area waiting for guests and a well catered kitchen completed with everything you need for a relaxed stay. You can relax and watch your favourite show on a flat screen TV in the comfortable living room if you choose to spend the evening in. A further 2 people can also share the double sofa bed. There is also a convenient down stairs toilet. If you want to enjoy the warm days or just have a glass of wine with a few friends, an enclosed south-facing private garden/patio is available with garden furniture and barbecue (on request). Dogs are welcome at an extra charge At £30 per dog per stay. You have access to the whole house. Stephen & Denise give you a very warm welcome to 'Latharne Lodge'. We know what the discerning traveller requires and would like to see in their holiday accommodation and go to great lengths to insure the property is kept spotlessly clean and every eventually is covered or catered for. Latharne Lodge is on a quiet street near the town centre where you can walk to lots of cafes and coffee shops. Why not take a walk to our promenade at Larne’s own ‘Jurassic’, coastline were you can do a bit of fossil – spotting. It’s one of the most important places in the world for treasures that dates back 200 million years ago. Take a drive north on to the’ Causeway Coastal Route’ voted best in travel 2018 by ‘Lonely Planet’. One of the most enthralling road trips on the planet with its scenic sweeping bends and headlands, picturesque old harbour’s, travelling on to the’ Glens of Antrim’ and the’ Giants Causeway’. Or going south on the coast road out of Larne to ‘The Gobbins’, Islandmagee. Europe’s most dramatic cliff walk. Then travel on to the perfectly preserved 12th century castle in Carrickfergus a bit further to Belfast with its Titanic Quarter. HBO’s world famous ‘Game of Thrones’ is filmed across many parts of Northern Ireland, most of which are within a 1 hour drive from our property. From The Wall, Kings Road, The Iron Islands, Winterfell, and many many other sets and locations. Well worth the trip. Or if you prefer a game of golf, we have a ‘Play and Stay’ arrangement with the scenic’ Cairndue Golf Club’ We are just located of the main road in and out of Larne and Larne Harbour. The local train and bus stations are only a short walk away.
