Tentrr Signature Site - Hill Top Camp

Our secluded campsite is located less than 10 miles from a busy urban area, with an easy bike or car ride to shopping, eating, kayaking and hiking opportunities. Hill Top Camp at Valley View Farm offers peace and quiet, lovely views of our fields with all the privacy that your heart desires. Hiking and biking trails abound around our farm that is situated among 2,000 acres of protected farm, forest and agricultural land. Hill Top Camp sits on a high ridge that looks over our fields where our sheep and mini horses graze and play. Explore our woods and fields, visit with our farm animals, collect your own eggs, pick fresh produce from our gardens, and pat our bunnies. We welcome you to our farm! More activities include nighttime stargazing, kayaking on the Androscoggin River, bald eagle watching, hiking and biking on Bradbury Mountain, taking an afternoon swim in our inground pool, visiting comedy clubs and local theaters, or relaxing in the peace and quiet that surrounds our farm. There is easy access to major roads and the turnpike. So much to do! Ask us! Drop your bags and the relaxation begins at our secluded hilltop campsite This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with land owners to offer unique accommodations in beautiful outdoor spaces. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! Your Tentrr campsite includes a (Phone number hidden by Airbnb) square feet) safari-style canvas tent on a raised wooden platform. Inside the tent you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed (see photos for the exact setup). The tent is big enough for the bed plus one or two extra sleeping bags on the floor. Aside from the canvas tent, campers can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided. You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Group Camping: We welcome campers with larger parties, but the standard Tentrr setup only includes the canvas tent plus the additional pop-up dome tent. You may need and are encouraged to bring additional camping gear of your own if you plan on camping with a large party. Max Occupancy: This refers to the total number of campers allowed onsite with your reservation. You may have as many campers in your party up to the maximum limit that is set for the listing, but please note that the only bed provided as a standard amenity is the one set up inside the canvas tent. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. To use, line the bucket with a CleanWaste Sani-Bag supplied at the camp prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. CleanWaste Sani-Bags use a NASA-developed gelling/deodorizing agent that helps prevent spills and keeps everyone safe and clean. Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. What you should bring: -S'mores supplies & any food you'd like to eat -A cooler to keep your grub from spoiling -Bedding and pillows -Lanterns and lighting -Firewood for the campfire -Water Tentrr Extras: These are other additional amenities, services, or activities that may be provided by your CampKeeper for an additional fee. Availability of any Extras are not guaranteed and must be confirmed and paid for at least 24 hours prior to check-in. Please coordinate with Tentrr Customer Support in advance if you'd like to add these to your booking. Bed linens and towels supplied for an extra charge - $15 Bring your own bedding or we can supply them for you...... you choose! 24 hour notice please.. Kayaks - $25 Looking to kayak on the Androscoggin River or some of our other fine water ways? We have single kayaks with life jackets available for rent at $25.00 day. Upon check out, you should leave-no-trace of your stay and be sure your campsite is returned to its natural glory! While Tentrr does not charge a cleaning fee, we do expect campsites to be left how they were found. After you check out, take everything you brought in and be sure to leave your trash at the designated location on the property. If a CampKeeper submits an incident report after your stay that details evidence of trash or damage to the campsite or the CampKeeper’s property, Tentrr reserves the right to charge a minimum cleaning fee of $50. Just make sure to follow the Camper Manual posted at your campsite and you'll be set! Reservation Modifications/Cancellations: Please note the terms of the cancelation policy as they are outlined in your reservation confirmation on Airbnb. If you need to cancel or modify your reservation, please reach out to Tentrr Customer Support. Your CampKeeper is unable to change or cancel your reservation on your behalf.
