A beautiful and quiet neighborhood with eclectic architecture. Our area of Holyoke is very central to so many great parts of the Pioneer Valley. We're a short drive from all of the colleges, endless state parks for hiking and biking, a short drive to Springfield and an hour from The Berkshires. Mt. Tom State Reservation is just five minutes down the road, and the Dinosaur Footprints, with stunning views of the Connecticut River, is only a couple minutes down route 5. If you love biking, we're seven minutes from the Manhan Rail Trail and 15 to Northampton for the Norwottuck Rail Trail. Downtown Northampton provides tons of restaurants, art, music and quaint shopping. Fifteen minutes in the opposite direction gets you to Springfield Museums, MGM Casino and the Basketball Hall of Fame. The B48 bus is available, and the drive to Northampton along Rt. 5 has wonderful views of the Connecticut River and surrounding mountains. Parking is available for up to two cars on site. We have two young children who make some morning (~6am) and evening noise, but all is quiet by 7pm. A white noise machine is available for use if needed. We have a Pack & Play and toys available for any tiny guests.
