Our traditional Cottage is 4 minutes walk to the most beautiful natural coastline which has been voted in the top 10 best coastal walks in the UK with a traditional fishing cove nearby. You’ll love our place because of the location and views. Our place is good for couples, solo adventurers and young families. It’s fantastic for surfing, sea swimming in the cove, coastal hiking and golf. There's a golf course close by to us that has an indoor swimming pool and restaurant. Boswedden Farm Cottage is a self-contained traditional Cornish cottage nestled in the hamlet of Boswedden which is next to the most amazing coastline and countryside, an area of outstanding natural beauty. The views close by over the Cape Cornwall golf course to the coastline, preserved by the National Trust, are breath-taking! The cottage is newly decorated and has a new kitchen, next to a cosy Living Room that has a log burner. Upstairs there is a comfortable double bedroom with sea view glimpses from the window. Next to the bedroom there is a ensuite shower room. The sofa in the living room can be made up as a double bed, bed linen is left for guests in a wooden chest, it is ideal for young families. Linen for the sofa bed isn’t left for couples unless requested . At the front of the Cottage there is a private patio garden which is a sun trap. At the rear of the Cottage is a private parking space which leads into the kitchen. The guests have access to the whole cottage. We are available if you wish to meet or if you like to stay on your own I will respect your privacy! We are always available if you need any help with anything. The location of the Boswedden Hamlet where the cottage is situated is one of the most beautiful idyllic areas of unspoilt coastline and countryside. The coast path is only 2 minutes walk away and near to the fabulous landmark of Cape Cornwall and it's fishing cove with amazing views and sunsets. A 10 minute walk away is the vibrant town of St Just which has shops, pubs and restaurants. The cottage is walking distance to the Cape Cornwall Golf Club which has an indoor swimming pool and restaurant. The coastline of West Cornwall has wonderful family and surfing beaches like Sennen and Porthcurno. There are superb places to visit like St Micheals Mount, St Ives, The Minack outside Theatre and Mousehole fishing village. The pubs in the village serve good food. Boswedden hamlet is of historical interest, it is sited on a Bronze Age settlement and is close to many Neolithic sites of importance. The Carn Gloose bronze age chambers are a short walk away and the Botallock ancient tin mines, where the TV programme Poldark was filmed, are close by. Kenijack Castle can be seen silhouetted against the sunsets. It's best to have a car to explore the area but we are close to air, train and sea links. Penzance Train station is 20 minutes away, Newquay Airport is 55mins drive, our nearest ferryport to France is Plymouth and there is a bus service from St Just. You can fly to the Scilly Isles from Lands Ends airport or go to the islands by sea from Penzance. You can hire cars locally and there is a great local taxi service. Just ask Tina for details.
