Klipsand Tent Camp

Klipsand Tentcamp is nestled at the foot of the majestic Waterberg mountains and the Marakele National Park in the Thabazimbi bushveld. Lots of free roaming game, abundant birdlife and an expansive night sky makes this a nature lover’s delight. This is the ideal getaway from the noise of the city. Come and relax around the splash pool and outdoor fireplace, or take leisurely walks on the farm. The farm is situated in the UNESCO protected Waterberg biosphere. The camp is self catering and fully equipped. It boasts 3 tents and sleeps 6 people. You have full access to the entire farm. Only exclusive bookings are made which means guests have the entire camp to themselves. Electricity is supplied by a solar system. All bedding, towels and kitchen appliances are provided. The owners live on the farm and are always available to ensure that all your needs are attended too. A daily cleaning service is included in the nightly rate. Located in the heart of the bushveld surrounded by wildlife. The area has many attractions which are all worth a visit. These include the Marakele National Park, Marakele Predator Centre and Reptile Inc. Thabazimbi also boasts a 9 hole golf course. The Klipbokkie MTB trial is a must visit for mountain bikers. Situated just a 15 minute drive from Thabazimbi city centre. Klipsand Tent Camp is situated 16km north of Thabazimbi on the R510 tar road. A 4x4 vehicle is not required to get to the camp. All the major attractions are accessible with a passenger vehicle.
